Literature and it's significance

As we could see there are two men in a beach, I wanted to put the picture of it because man is given the capability of expressing thoughts and feelings. It could either be in speaking or in action. But others rather put their insides in words by writing their emotions and thoughts. And so literature was born.

First thing that comes to mind when I hear literature are books that are made with imagination and creativity. For me a good literature expresses their topic or theme in such a way readers are able to grasp and imagine ideas in a colorful way and are able to relate as time passes with what the literature artist has made.

There are those who enjoy literary works and finds it as a hobby, these are some examples of why literature is given much thought. What invites man to create this kind of works are his instinct to be able to share what are his ideas and thoughts. After all we are creatures of language. Also the way a person expresses or writes shows what are his or her experiences and personality. We are really blessed that we have literary in our lives. It gives us comfort and support when we are down especially that we always deal with numbers. We students needed some time to relax a little bit by reading or creating literary works. Literature gave me the impression that at times it makes a person addicted to it because it sometimes removes as from reality to take away stress even for a short period of time.

The relevance of literature to my degree is that we could be more appreciative in any task we are given. The moral values we learn from literary works could be applied to our daily association with others. Let me cite you a saying that I read, “It is by words and their meanings that we compose the sense of our lives.” My understanding to it is that we indeed express ourselves through words and that words bring the purpose of our existence in this world.
